In Mac, there is only one solution available for the McAfee software uninstallation, unlike Windows. To begin the uninstallation in Mac, perform the steps mentioned below:

1. Close all the web browser applications for a smoother uninstallation process. This closure of applications helps to remove the McAfee browser plug-in properly.
2. Go to the Dock, and launch the Applications folder.
3. Next, tap twice on the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller (a McAfee uninstaller application).
4. Select the Continue option.

Uninstalling from Windows

For Windows users, there are two options available – Control Panel and MCPR (McAfee Consumer Product Removal – a type of McAfee uninstaller application). To remove the McAfee software using the Control Panel, implement the tasks provided below in chronological order:

2. Click on the Start menu icon.
